This is a vision that God gave me a few weeks ago about who He is and who I am because of that. He showed me the relationship He wants to have with His daughter and I am learning how to believe that identity for myself and grow this relationship.

The King’s daughter is the most treasured part of His kingdom. He loves watching her grow and spending time with her. He has given her the best of everything, because He knows her worth. He knows that she is far more valuable than anyone or anything else in His kingdom.

Others are able to see her value as well. Those who love the King honor her because they know that she has spent intimate time with her Father and has learned so much from Him. She wants to be a good leader and love His people as well as He does. Even the King’s enemies can see how special the daughter is. They know that she wants to be like Him and grow the kingdom, so they want to do everything they can to attack her, distract her, and separate the daughter from her Father. But since he is a King who loves his daughter dearly, He will stop at nothing to protect her and keep her safe.

The mightiest army in the world is under His command, and she knows He will send them out to rescue her when the attack comes. The daughter, as well, knows her worth because she has seen how true and good her Father is; she knows that, as the daughter of the King, she is second only to him. He is the only one that she will bow down to, the one she cares about more than anything else. She has seen the way the people of His kingdom regard Him and joyfully serve the good King. She has spent many nights curled up in His arms, listening to Him sing, laugh, and cry with her. He has told her countless stories of His mighty victories, of the people He loves, and of who He sees her as. She knows that His heart is big and His mind is wise. He is larger than life, and she is constantly in awe that she gets to call Him “Dad.”

P.S. This is true for you as well. You’re His favorite child 🙂
